There isn't a kid in America, and probably in most of the world, who doesn't know about the Yellow Brick Road or the Wicked Witch of the West. Frank Baum's book series about the land of Oz and its inhabitants have been turned into musicals, plays, comics, cartoons, video games, and every other type of merchandise you can think of.
